Revised Kia Picanto can be ordered
Kia has opened the order books for the extensively redesigned Picanto, which will receive redesigned front and rear sections as well as extended safety equipment for the 2025 model year. In addition, the body, which is now one centimeter longer, has been reinforced. There is still a choice of two petrol engines with 63 PS (46 kW) and 79 PS (58 kW), which can also be combined with an automated manual gearbox depending on the equipment.
Standard equipment includes a navigation system including Kia Connect and air conditioning as well as an active lane departure warning system. The front collision warning system now also has cyclist detection and a turning function in the higher trim levels. Also new are an active blind spot and cross-traffic warning system.
A limited "Launch Edition" with exclusive elements and colors will be offered for the market launch. Prices for the refreshed Kia Picanto start at 16,690 euros. The first deliveries will take place in July. (aum)
