Renault Symbioz: A crossover for the family

The concept of the Symbioz is reminiscent of the legendary R 16, which was launched on the market around 60 years ago. Like its distant role model, the new Renault has been developed primarily as a family car. The developers in Paris chose a 145 hp (107 kW) hybrid unit for the Kadjar successor, which is already used in other Group models. Two variants with conventional engines will follow next year.

The 4.41 meter long crossover is surprisingly spacious, especially when the rear seat bench is pushed back by 16 centimeters. This creates a feeling of space that is otherwise only found in higher-class models. The newcomer rounds off the Renault range in the C-segment and is available in three variants: Technic, Iconic and Esprit Alpine. The price list is still being drawn up - the order window will open in June. (aum)
