Most powerful Cayenne ever is called Turbo E-Hybrid

Now it's out: The "most powerful Cayenne ever" is called the Turbo E-Hybrid, develops 739 hp (544 kW) and a maximum torque of 950 Newton meters. The plug-in hybrid with its 599 hp (441 kW) four-liter V8 biturbo and 130 kW electric motor can sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. The top speed is at least 295 km/h, but as a coupe with GT package it can also reach 305 km/h. The price list in Germany starts at 176,324 euros.

The new Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupé with GT package is even sportier, transferring the performance of the Cayenne Turbo GT, which is no longer available in some markets, to the hybrid world. In addition to lowering the body and larger wheels on the front axle, this includes special tuning of all suspension and control systems including the air suspension with new 2-chamber 2-valve technology, Porsche's high-performance ceramic brakes and optional performance tires for the standard GT design wheels in 22-inch format, electronic dampers and rear axle steering.

The Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid SUV and coupe are distinguished from their model brethren by a nose section reserved for the Turbo models with enlarged cooling air vents and gloss black airblades, wheel arch trim and rear trim in body color, two twin tailpipes in brushed stainless steel, and red brake calipers. Inside, there are aluminum inlays in the dashboard and door panels, and the headliner is covered in Race-Tex. Standard equipment includes a GT sports steering wheel with steering wheel heating, the mode switch for quick and direct selection of the desired driving mode, and 18-way adjustable leather sports seats. In addition, there are all the innovations of the model upgrade presented in the spring, which include the digital cockpit with variable display options, the redesigned center console and the optional passenger display. The HD Matrix LED main headlights are standard here.

The GT package can be identified by a specific nose section with black accents, black wheel arch extensions, carbon sideplates on the roof spoiler, centered tailpipes of the titanium exhaust system and a rear diffuser made of carbon. The vehicle roof is also made of carbon fiber. In addition, the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupé with GT package reaches 100 km/h from a standstill after 3.6 seconds and travels at up to 305 km/h.

The new Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid can be ordered now and costs from 176,324 euros in Germany. The coupe version is available from 179,775 euros. The Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid with GT package costs at least 208,454 euros in Germany, and is also limited to markets where the Cayenne Turbo GT is no longer available due to legal conditions. These are the majority of EU markets as well as Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. (aum)
