IAA 2023: The Renault Kangoo stretches
Renault is presenting the long-wheelbase version of the Kangoo as a new product at the IAA Mobility in Munich (Sept. 10). In addition to variants with gasoline and diesel engines, the Grand Kangoo is also available as a fully electric E-Tech Electric. The seats in rows two and three can be individually moved, folded, reclined and removed. This allows a wide range of seat configurations. For example, the center seat in the second row can be removed. The knee room of 16.4 centimeters in the third row is best in class. The sliding doors, which are wider than those of the Kangoo, are designed to facilitate entry to the very rear.
As a seven-seater, the Renault Grand Kangoo offers 500 liters of luggage compartment volume. If the rear seats are removed and the front passenger seat folded down, the volume is 3750 liters with a loading length of 3.11 meters. Orders will start at the end of 2023 and deliveries will begin in early 2024. (aum)
