Verge gets managers from McLaren and Rivian

Finnish electric motorcycle manufacturer Verge is bringing managers from the automotive industry onto its management team. Alan Foster has been appointed Chief Operating Officer and Haydn Baker takes over as Chief Program Officer.

Alan Foster, who has worked in the automotive industry for more than four decades, spent more than 15 years at McLaren in various management positions. Most recently, he worked as an industry consultant with leading automotive manufacturers. Foster will be responsible for increasing Verge's production capacity, quality control and operations.

Haydn Baker also worked for McLaren for decades and most recently worked for U.S.-based e-pickup manufacturer Rivian. He is responsible for Verge Motorcycles' product development program, engineering processes and standards, and product portfolio scalability.

Verge plans to expand into the U.S. later this year and has announced plans to join Tesla's NACS charging network. (aum)
