Renault Trafic comes as E-Tech
Renault Trucks is expanding its range to include the electric variant of the Trafic panel van. It will be available from the fourth quarter in three length and two height variants, as well as a double cab and platform chassis. The Renault Trucks E-Tech Trafic is powered by a 90 kW (120 hp) electric motor that makes the one-ton truck capable of speeds of up to 110 km/h. The battery capacity of 52 kWh is said to enable ranges of just under 300 kilometers. The towing capacity of the electric van is 920 kilograms. The manufacturer is helping with the switchover with a specially trained e-mobility team. (aum)
