The Ducati Multistrada for the really big tour
To mark the 20th anniversary of the Multistrada, Ducati is launching the V4 S Grand Tour in November. It is fully equipped for long journeys and also comes in an exclusive paint finish with special graphics.
The Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour has the "Travel & Radar" package with adaptive cruise control and lane change warning as well as tire pressure monitoring on board. Additional LED headlights improve visibility at night and in fog. The standard side cases, with a total capacity of 60 liters, are painted in the color of the motorcycle. A main stand is standard equipment, as are the heated grips and heated seat for rider and pillion.
As on the V4 Rally, the handlebars are rigidly mounted on the steering head, and the pillion seat is also the same as on the Rally. To improve thermal comfort, the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour features heat shields on the swingarm and on the left side of the rear subframe, as well as closable channels in the leg area. The compartment designed for the smartphone is ventilated.
The Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour features the Minimum Preload function, which allows the rider to lower the motorcycle when stopping and at low speed by reducing the preload of the shock absorber to a minimum. The Easy Lift function, on the other hand, reduces the effort required to lift the motorcycle from the side stand by opening the suspension's hydraulics when the ignition is activated. The Autolevelling leveling function also detects the motorcycle's ride height and adjusts it automatically to bring the seat to the ideal height in addition to the manual options in the various riding configurations. The Grand Tour also features Ducati Connect, among other features. Keyless-Go, cornering lights and quickshifter, as well as accessory options for personalization.
