Alexander Ehrmann appointed to the Ford Management Board

Alexander Ehrmann (54) joins the management team at Ford in Cologne with immediate effect and takes over responsibility for Product Development. He succeeds Jörg Beyer, who left the company in July.

Ehrmann studied industrial engineering and held senior product development positions at Ford in Shanghai and Bangkok before moving to the U.S. parent company in Dearborn to transform product development. He began his career at Ford in June 2001, holding various positions within Product Planning and Development in Dunton, England, and in Cologne, Germany.

Alexander Ehrmann studied at the University of Kaiserslautern and gained experience with other manufacturers following his studies. He comes from Neustadt an der Weinstraße, is married and has three children. (aum)
