The Opel Corsa, the undisputed bestseller in the Opel model range, presents itself in a revamped guise after a four-year construction period. CEO Florian Huettl calls it the "heart of the brand," and indeed the Corsa is the best-selling small car in Germany and England as well as one of the best-selling in Europe. In the new edition, it scores points alongside the combustion engine versions with a second electric drive with more power and greater range. A hybrid model is also in the pipeline.
The most striking feature of the revised Corsa is the "Vizor" brand face. Under the hood, there is now the 115 kW e-motor already known from other Stellantis models and a larger battery pack that allows a range of up to 405 kilometers according to the WLTP standard. Opel also offers various charging options, including the fast 100 kW DC charging option.
Prices for the Corsa Electric start from €34,650, while the more powerful version costs at least €38,045. In addition, Opel also offers affordable leasing options starting at 169 euros per month. (aum/fw)
