It was one of the first series-produced café racers of the modern era - and now the era of the Triumph Thruxton, whose model designation dates back to the 1960s, is coming to an end. The Thruxton will be given a fitting send-off next year with a "Final Edition" in the exclusive Competition Green color with hand-painted, gold trim lines and the painter's signature. The limited special model of the Thruxton RS has black contrasting side covers and fenders.
Each copy comes with a certificate of authenticity that includes the bike's chassis number and bears the signatures of the development team and Triumph CEO Nick Bloor. This is accompanied by a unique engine badge with gold trim and Final Edition graphics.
The Thruxton Final Edition costs €17,495 (Austria: €20,195). Orders can be placed now, with delivery starting in February. (aum)
