Livewire plans to launch the S2 Del Mar in the first quarter of next year. The sub-brand's second electric motorcycle after the One, the former Harley-Davidson Livewire, is said to have a standard range of just under 140 kilometers and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in around three seconds. Thanks to a continuous output of 30 kW (41 hp), the S2 can also be harnessed with an A2 driver's license. Peak power is 63 kW (86 hp).
The Del Mar, of which there will also be a Launch Edition, costs 18,490 euros. In France and the Netherlands the price is slightly higher, and in the UK it is 16,990 pounds. For a fee of 100 euros or 100 pounds, interested parties can reserve an S2 Del Mar starting Wednesday (4 p.m.). Three colors are available. (aum)
