In view of dwindling demand for plug-in hybrids in Germany, Mitsubishi is now offering the Eclipse Cross at a significantly lower price. Participating dealers are offering a non-binding recommended promotional discount of 8000 euros until the end of the year. This lowers the starting price to 33,990 euros (excluding transfer). The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Plug-in Hybrid has a 2.4-liter petrol engine and two electric motors. They generate a system output of 188 hp (138 kW) and enable up to 45 kilometers of purely electric driving. This results in a standard fuel consumption of two liters per 100 kilometers in the WLTP cycle. Mitsubishi offers the Eclipse Cross in three versions and in several special editions. (aum)
