EICMA 2023: Suzuki continues its model offensive

Suzuki, currently the weakest Japanese brand on the German market, is trying to regain its footing. The model offensive launched last year is continuing with two models that are celebrating their premiere at the Milan motorcycle show EICMA (-12.11.). The GSX-S 1000 GX is a crossover in the style of the BMW XR. The well-known 999 cubic four-cylinder engine from the series also delivers 152 hp (112 kW) and 106 Newton meters of torque. To a certain extent, the GX closes the gap between the naked GSX-S 1000 and the fully clad GT.

The 800cc GSX is also getting a new addition. Here, the GSX-8 R joins the naked S as a fully clad super sports bike. The familiar engine, the 776 cubic centimeter two-cylinder with 83 hp (61 kW) and 78 newton meters of torque, is also retained.

The GSX-S 1000 GX will be launched on the German market in January. It costs 17,400 euros (excluding ancillary costs). The GSX-8 R will be available from spring at a price of 9800 euros. (aum)
