Porsche relies on a new operating concept

Porsche is introducing a new operating concept with the next Panamera. The toggle switch for switching through the instrument cluster options and the torque mode switch for the drive programs are located on the steering wheel. The gear selector lever is located directly next to it. This creates space on the center console with its larger storage compartment for operating the air conditioning system with a combination of touch surfaces and classic switches. You can switch between several preconfigured and personalized climate control modes at the touch of a button. Completely bladeless and electrically adjustable air vents are also new.

The digital and free-standing instrument cluster is a free-standing 12.6-inch curved display that divides the driving information into three configurable areas. A head-up display is also available as an option.

A decorative strip extends from the center console to the dashboard and into the doors. The ambient lighting extends across the entire width of the panel. New seats are designed to improve long-distance comfort. For the first time, Porsche is also offering a leather-free interior in the Panamera. (aum)
