Turbonit for turbos
The Turbo models have been at the top of every Porsche model series since 1974. The sports car manufacturer is now emphasizing their special feature once again. In future, the Turbo models will feature the modernized emblem in a particularly exclusive version: instead of gold, the new Turbonit color will dominate. The designers have developed this noble metallic shade of gray especially for the Turbo vehicles. It will be used on other selected exterior and interior components, such as the Porsche emblem on the steering wheel. The first model will be the new Panamera.
The lettering at the rear and the Daylight Opening (DLO), the edging of the side windows, will in future be in Turbonit on the Turbo models. Depending on the model series, other details such as inserts in the front trim, spokes or aeroblades in the alloy wheels may also be painted in the new color. In addition, selected interior components such as the accent strips and seatbelt straps as well as some controls such as the mode switch and the climate control panel are finished in Turbonit. The exact scope depends on the model series. In combination with a black interior, Turbonit is also used as a contrasting color for the yarn on the seats, door panels, instrument panel and floor mats. (aum)
