Automechanika Frankfurt receives a lot of encouragement in advance

Registrations for the german Automechanika Frankfurt 2024 (September 10-14) are already around 20 percent above the level of the previous event just under a year before the start of the trade fair. The set focus topics of transformation and sustainability have already received a lot of support from the industry: leading companies have already announced that they will be presenting corresponding products and solutions for the aftermarket and original equipment. New event formats will also promote discussions on topics such as the circular economy, e-mobility, alternative fuels, sustainability, connectivity, AI in cars and service.

A brand new addition to the program is the Sustainability Court in Hall 5, where car manufacturers, suppliers and players from the automotive aftermarket can present their sustainable solutions and exchange ideas on the stage and in the adjacent networking area. At the Future Mobility Park, trade visitors can experience and test vehicles with alternative drive systems and future solutions live. The expert forum "Innovation4Mobility" will take place for the second time in Hall 3 with specialist presentations and discussion panels.

Olaf Mußhoff, Show Director of Automechanika Frankfurt, on the current planning status: "We are receiving a lot of demand for stand extensions and are particularly pleased that some well-known companies are back on board after a long break." The response to Automechanika Shanghai, which will take place from November 29 to December 2, 2023 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, is also almost at pre-corona levels with 5,600 registered exhibitors. Michael Johannes, Vice President Mobility & Logistics at Messe Frankfurt: "All ten Automechanika trade fairs this year far exceeded our expectations. Automechanika Shanghai will soon be the crowning finale. China plays a pioneering role in the automotive industry as a center for research, development and production. This can be seen just by looking at the topics of the 60 or so events that will take place during the four days of the fair." (aum)
