Preview: Two Stromers, a trade fair and some Christmas tips
With the Ioniq 5 N, Hyundai is launching an electric car under its performance label for the first time. Group subsidiary Kia is also presenting the new Santa Fe next week. And the Astra Sports Tourer will soon be the third electric estate car to be launched on the market after the MG 5 and Peugeot E-308 SW. Motorsport and classic car fans are looking forward to the Essen Motor Show. Europe's largest trade fair of its kind opens its doors on Friday and runs until December 10. By then at the latest, everyone should have started thinking about Christmas presents. We will be giving a few tips for car-friendly presents at the end of next week.
Taking a motorhome to the winegrower is usually a good idea, even during the cold season. However, seasonal peculiarities must be taken into account, otherwise there can be nasty surprises, as Michael Kirchberger knows. We also catch up on the practical test of the Zontes 350 GK, which was canceled due to illness. S-pedelecs are not quite as fast, but they are still faster than a normal e-bike. In Germany, however, hybrid bikes with speeds of up to 45 km/h still lead a niche existence. This is different in other countries, partly due to different legal regulations. The bicycle industry association ZIV has therefore commissioned a study to serve as a basis for discussion with politicians.
