KTM upgrades the Super Duke R

KTM has increased the Super Duke R and R Evo by 110 millimeters to 1350 cubic centimeters. In addition, there is a new air filter box and a new camshaft phaser. As a result, the engine now produces 190 hp (140 kW) at 10,000 rpm. The engine, which is not quite correctly listed as the 1390 Super Duke, reaches its maximum torque of 145 Newton meters at 8000 rpm. That is ten hp and five Newton meters more than before. At the same time, the Super Duke R is lighter.

New tank spoilers and additional winglets increase downforce, while other suspension elements improve ride comfort and handling. Visually, the completely new LED headlight unit dominates, underpinning the Super Duke's marketing reputation as "The Beast". The light automatically adapts to the surroundings and also has a coming home function. The brake light has disappeared from the outrigger cover and the tank holds one and a half liters more (17.5).

KTM has not yet announced a price. (aum)
