Racing for those with fingers without exhaust fumes and parking worries

The Porsche Esports Carrera Cup Germany returns after a two-year break. The course of the season has been completely restructured and offers excitement across the six race weekends. In addition to some changes to the competition mode, sim racers can also look forward to a new platform. The first race will take place next Sunday. December 10, 2023, on "Rennsport", a racing simulation from game developer Games Publisher "Competition Company" and home of the leading sim racing league ESL R1.

A total of six events make up the racing calendar for the 2023/24 season. After the five race weekends, which will take place between December 10, 2023 and March 10, 2024, the grand finale will be held on April 6, 2024. "The Porsche Esports Carrera Cup Germany 2024 promises even more action and absolute excitement right up to the final for sim racers and fans," says Steffen Schmitter, Project Manager Brand Partnerships at Porsche Germany. A prize pool of 25,000 euros for the first three places in the PECCD24.

A pre-qualification session in hot-lap mode will take place for 60 minutes on Fridays and Saturdays of each race weekend. The twelve drivers with the best times qualify for the main event on Sunday. The Sunday event consists of two races: First, the simracers will battle it out in qualifying for the best grid positions for the first race. The result of the first race determines the starting grid for the second race, which is included in the points classification. The twelve best drivers after the five races of the season secure a place in the final. Racing takes place on traditional international circuits in the standard Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992).
