Ducati Diavel for Bentley: Exclusivity on two wheels

Ducati and Bentley have joined forces to develop a limited edition motorcycle that combines the special characteristics of both brands. The Ducati Diavel for Bentley combines craftsmanship and exclusivity with technology and performance. The motorcycle is based on the comfortable Diavel V4 and integrates style-defining elements of the Batur - Bentley's most powerful production vehicle of all time with a 740 hp twin-turbo W12 engine, of which only 18 models will be produced.

For example, the Diavel adopts the pronounced horizontal lines in the side view from the Batur. The elegant Scarab Green paintwork with its many metallic shades comes from the Bentley Mulliner range and can be found on the fairing parts. The forged rims, designed and manufactured specifically for this motorcycle, are reminiscent of the car's rims and are painted in Dark Titanium Satin, with some machined surfaces left unpainted.

The side air intakes echo the design of the two-tone radiator grille on the Batur. The triangular rear outlets refer to the corresponding elements of the vehicle. The front mudguard, the fairing and the top view of the tank are reminiscent of the ribs on the hood. The cover of the pillion seat also borrows many styling cues from the rear of the vehicle. For trips with a pillion passenger, the cover can be replaced with the seat supplied. The driver's seat in black Alcantara is also inspired by the interior of the Batur. It is precision crafted to reveal the underlying red fabric with the same texture as the Batur seats with an embroidered Bentley logo.

The 1158 cubic meter V4 engine of the Diavel for Bentley is also intended to be a central element of the design. It delivers 168 hp and 126 Nm of torque, is extremely light and compact and is said to have a smooth power delivery even at low engine speeds. In addition, a Twin Pulse ignition sequence in combination with the special exhaust system ensures an unmistakable sound.

The Diavel for Bentley will be produced in a numbered series of 500+50 units, the latter being reserved exclusively for Bentley customers. Like all collector's models from Ducati, the Diavel for Bentley also comes with a certificate of authenticity and a cover cloth. The name of the model and the production number are engraved on a plate set into the carbon cover of the cylinder head on the right-hand side of the motorcycle. Both the TFT color display, which is equipped with a turn-by-turn navigation device as standard, and the LED matrix of the rear light have a special animation when starting up, which makes the Diavel for Bentley even more distinctive. Each Diavel for Bentley is delivered in an exclusive, personalized wooden box.

The collaboration between the two manufacturers has also resulted in an exclusive capsule collection, which is reserved solely for owners of the Diavel for Bentley. Customers can complete their look with a jet helmet and a leather jacket including protectors (available in a men's and a women's version) that pick up on the color scheme of the motorcycle. (aum)
