Available to order now: Ford E-Transit Custom
Ford is now accepting orders for the newly developed E-Transit Custom, which is expected to be launched in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from the fourth quarter of 2024. The all-electric version of Europe's best-selling van series, which was recently named "International Van of the Year" in the diesel version, will also be available as an E-Tourneo Custom for up to nine people. In addition to the diesel versions already available, a plug-in hybrid version will also be available from the summer.
Ford is extending the service life of the E-Transit Custom and E-Tourneo Custom by extending the maintenance intervals to two years with no mileage limit. This also contributes to reduced operating and running costs, which are expected to be around 40 percent lower than those of comparable vans with a diesel drive.
Ford delivers the E-Transit Custom with one year's free access to the fast-growing Blue Oval Charge Network. Ford Pro Telematics services are also available to customers free of charge for the first year. (aum)
