Arrivederci eight-cylinder

After more than 60 years, the era of eight-cylinder engines is coming to an end at Maserati. The present already belongs to the V6 engines of the Nettuno series, the future to the all-electric models that the Folgore (Italian for lightning) will usher in. The latest eight-cylinder models are the Ghibli 334 Ultima and the Levante V8 Ultima. Both are powered by the 580 hp (427 kW) 90-degree twin-turbo and are both strictly limited editions.

The special edition is also characterized by its equipment and aerodynamic refinement. The Ghibli 334 Ultima also marks a milestone: its numerical abbreviation stands for its top speed, which at 334 km/h makes it the fastest production saloon in the world. (aum)
