This electrician makes his last rounds

The Jaguar I-Pace, the British luxury brand's first all-electric model, is entering its final lap. Reason enough for a farewell tour with the sportily styled crossover launched six years ago. However, the flat shape means there is less headroom in the rear, and the view to the rear is also severely restricted, so the reversing camera helps with orientation when maneuvering. Thanks to the permanent all-wheel drive and the two 294 kW (400 hp) engines, the I-Pace is one of the most dynamic representatives of its kind and lives up to the brand's sporty values.

It takes 4.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a standstill, and the forward thrust is limited at 200 km/h. Jaguar promises a range of just under 470 kilometers, which in reality is reduced to around 360 kilometers.

It is not only in terms of performance that the I-Pace displays the typical characteristics of the brand. The chassis is a successful combination of dynamics and comfort and conceals the sins of the infrastructure. The interior is equipped with high-quality and cleanly finished materials. In front of the person behind the steering wheel is a clearly laid out information center dominated by a centrally located screen, which is used to control the most important settings, although the search sometimes does not always seem logical. The price list starts at 92,400 euros. (aum)
