Intermot changes the rhythm

The international motorcycle trade fair Intermot in Cologne will take place every year in future. The date is also being changed. Previously, the event took place every two years around the first weekend in October, but it will now be postponed to the beginning of December. This year's date is December 5-8. By moving the event to the pre-Christmas period, Koelnmesse as the organizer and the Motorcycle Industry Association (IVM) as the conceptual sponsor hope to attract a particularly large number of visitors shortly before the next motorcycle season. In addition, every two years Intermot is not held shortly before EICMA, the world's most important motorcycle trade fair, but after it, so that the new products shown in Milan can also be exhibited in Cologne shortly afterwards.
