The Citroën ë-C3 costs less than 23,500 euros

Citroën wants to facilitate the entry into electromobility with an affordable vehicle in the B segment. The ë-C3 is now available to order at an entry-level price of 23,300 euros and will be available from early summer. Its engine produces 84 kW (113 hp) and the 44 kilowatt hours of battery capacity promise a range of up to 300 kilometers. The Citroën accelerates to 100 km/h in around eleven seconds. The top speed is limited to 135 km/h.

The ë-C3 can draw up to 100 kW of electricity, so that the battery can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in less than half an hour. In addition to the basic You version, which comes with air conditioning, cruise control, lane departure warning and a Bluetooth hands-free system, there is also the higher specification ë-C3 Max for 27,800 euros. Both models can be upgraded with an 11 kW onboard charger and a winter package including heated front seats, heated steering wheel and heated windshield. Thanks to the electric drive, Citroën promises an above-average amount of space for a small car.

The Citroën ë-C3 will be built in Slovakia. An even more affordable basic version will be available next year. For those who want a range of 200 kilometers, the price will be 19,990 euros. (aum)
