New high-performance summer tire from Vredestein

Vredestein is launching the Ultrac Pro, a summer tire for the "Ultra Ultra High Performance" (UUHP) segment, in spring 2024. The new tire has been developed for a wide range of high-performance vehicles and super sports cars with rims up to 24 inches in diameter.

Compared to previous high-performance tires from the brand and other manufacturers, there are significant differences in the structural design of the materials in the tire. This is particularly evident in the bead and lower sidewall area near the rim, which have been completely redesigned. Vredesetein promises stability at high speeds and when cornering aggressively, while maintaining a smooth ride on uneven surfaces. According to Vredestein, the tire is 85 percent better protected against deformation thanks to the revised components in the bead area.

In addition, the tread pattern contains a completely new compound made with advanced polymers, fillers and high-performance resins to ensure wet and dry grip over a wide temperature range. The optimized design has also significantly reduced the weight of the tire and improved the sustainability of the productlkaut manufacturer.

The Ultrac Pro is offered in numerous sizes, from 18- to 24-inch rims, and is intended for a wide range of sports cars, supercars as well as high-performance sedans, coupes and SUVs. (aum/av)
