The Nissan Interstar also drives purely electrically for the first time

With the new Renault Master, alliance partner Nissan is also getting a new and areodynamically optimized Interstar. It is also the brand's first large van to be offered with a purely electric drive. The Nissan Interstar-e with a payload of up to 1.6 tons has a battery with either 40 kWh or 87 kWh. The smaller battery provides a range of around 200 kilometers, the larger one up to 460 kilometers.

The redesigned cab reduces the drag coefficient by a good 20 percent and the turning circle is reduced by one and a half meters. In addition, the van has a 40 millimeter wider side door and a 100 millimeter longer loading area. The maximum towing capacity is 2.5 tons. For the new generation of the Interstar with a payload of up to two tons, Nissan offers a wide range of conversions ex works, including tipper, platform and panel vans. (aum)
