The new Dacia Spring arrives in summer
Dacia launches the new Spring on the market this summer. The 3.70 meter long city car has been given a completely new design and now fits in with the current design language of the Romanian Renault offshoot. The interior and information center have also been redesigned, with the white plastic elements in particular bringing a fresher atmosphere to the interior.
The basic version still has the 33 kW (45 hp) engine, while the higher trim levels are powered by the 48 kW (65 hp) unit, which accelerates the Spring, which weighs just under a ton, from 0 to 100 km/h in 14 seconds. Dacia gives the consumption as 14.6 kWh, which should translate into a range of 220 kilometers. The price list has not yet been finalized, but the new Spring should remain the cheapest electric car in Europe. (aum)
