Two new drive systems for the Porsche Panamera

Porsche is expanding the range of drive systems for the new Panamera. With immediate effect, the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid have been added to the range. With 140 kW (190 PS) and 450 Nm of torque, the completely redesigned electric motor offers significantly more power than its predecessor. At 25.9 kWh (gross), the new high-voltage battery provides around 45 percent more capacity in a comparable installation space. At the same time, the new on-board charger shortens the charging process of the plug-in models to around two hours and 39 minutes.

The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid uses a new hybrid system with a fundamentally revised 2.9-liter V6 biturbo petrol engine that develops 304 hp (224 kW). The system output of 470 hp (346 kW) and the maximum torque of 650 Newton meters enable acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h. The purely electric range of the increases to 96 kilometers in the WLTP cycle (EAER City).

In the 4S E-Hybrid, the 2.9-liter six-cylinder engine produces 353 hp (260 kW). The system output is 544 hp (400 kW) and the maximum torque is 750 Nm. The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. Its top speed is 290 km/h.

In Germany, prices for the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid start at 123,400 euros and for the 4S at 138,200 euros. Deliveries will begin in the second quarter. (aum)
