John Deere advances into new performance regions
John Deere has unveiled its most powerful tractors to date in the USA. These are models from the 9RX series, which now have between 781 hp (576 kW) and 913 hp (672 kW) with the 18-liter engine. The top model develops a maximum torque of 4234 Newton meters. The 8.82 meter long, 3.77 meter high and almost three meter wide 9RX 710, 770 and 830 crawler tractors have 21 gears. The articulated tractors weigh 33.5 tons and have a top speed of 40 km/h. (aum)
