The Opel Grandland is now also available with a 48-volt hybrid drive. For propulsion, the SUV uses a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with 136 hp (100 kW) and an electrified six-speed dual-clutch transmission with a 21 kW (28 hp) electric motor.
Thanks to the combination of petrol engine and electric motor, the WLTP average fuel consumption of the Grandland Hybrid is set to fall to 5.7-5.5 liters (128-124 CO2 g/km) - around 15 percent less than the comparably powered non-electric Grandland 1.2 Turbo with eight-speed automatic transmission. Prices for the Grandland Hybrid start from 36,120 euros. (aum)
