The Ineos Grenadier is now also available as a Chassis Cab

Ineos Automotive has launched a five-seater variant of the Grenadier Quartermaster pick-up with Double Cab chassis, aimed at specialist vehicle converters and commercial coachbuilders worldwide. The Chassis Cab was developed in parallel with the Quartermaster pick-up. Behind the passenger compartment, the new model has an exposed ladder frame that offers customers and converters a wide range of body options, including a camper attachment. A towing capacity of 3500 kilograms further extends the range of possible applications.

"In the first year after its market launch, the Grenadier was already widely converted, particularly for emergency services such as the fire department, police and coastguard. The introduction of the Quartermaster Chassis Cab is therefore a logical next step, allowing us to offer our off-road expertise to commercial sectors where an off-road vehicle is required," explains George Ratcliffe, Commercial Director of Ineos Automotive.

At 3.23 meters, the Chassis Cab has the same wheelbase as the Quartermaster - 30.5 centimeters more than the Station Wagon. The Ineos Grenadier, which is deliberately inspired by the former Land Rover Defender, has a ladder-type frame, robust rigid axles, a two-stage transfer case and up to three limited slip differentials. A 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder engine from BMW is available as a petrol or diesel, which drives all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF.

In Germany, the Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster Chassis Cab will be available from 60,370 euros. (aum/av)
