Ford launches Tourneo Connect as PHEV

Ford is adding a plug-in hybrid to the Tourneo Connect model range, which will be available to order from the summer. It will offer a standard electric range of up to 110 kilometers and will also be available as a seven-seater Grand Tourneo Connect PHEV. The combination of the 1.5-liter petrol engine and the electric motor results in a system output of 150 hp (110 kW) and a maximum torque of 350 Newton meters The power is transmitted by a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The drive battery can be charged with up to 50 kilowatts of direct current or with eleven kW from a wallbox at home. (aum)
