More comfort and connectivity for the Hyundai i30
Hyundai is upgrading the i30 in June. In addition to the usual design refinements, comfort and connectivity are the main focus of the model refresh, which is also underlined by seven new exterior colors. The new features include a digital cockpit with a 10.3-inch display, USB-C charging ports and over-the-air map updates as standard.
The autonomous emergency brake assist is supplemented by a function for detecting cyclists crossing the road. A turn-off function is also available as an option, which warns of oncoming vehicles when turning left. Freeway Assist 1.5, which automatically adjusts the speed to the speed limit and bends and keeps the car in lane, is also available as an option.
The previously optional LED headlights and tail lights are now standard. The lower section of the dashboard is given a higher-quality paint finish and the center tunnel is gloss black.
In the sporty N Line trim level, the i30 also gets a revised radiator grille with a striking grid structure, a dark metal accent in the front bumper and new side sill trims, which also feature a dark metal insert. New alloy wheels in N Line design round off the sporty exterior, while the leather and textile velour interior is accentuated with three horizontal lines in red. (aum)
