Abarth celebrates with new photos

75 years ago today, Carlo Abarth founded his own company in Turin. The Austrian-born tuner's performance-enhanced or self-developed vehicles became legends on the racetrack and on the road, most notably the first Fiat 500. Abarth is celebrating the date March 31, 1949 with the publication of new photos of the fully electric 600e. With 176 kW (240 hp), the brand's most powerful and family-friendly production vehicle to date was initially launched as the special "Scorpionissima" model and featured a mechanical limited slip differential, among other things.

The interior is also designed to convey a motorsport atmosphere. The dashboard decorated with graphics, exclusive patterns on the seat covers and dark trim are complemented by the legendary brand logo with the scorpion on the steering wheel and colored decorative stitching. At the front, there are sports seats with pronounced lateral support. The steering wheel features leather inserts and Alcantara with a good grip. A special cover for the center tunnel creates additional storage space.

The Abarth 600e is equipped as standard with an infotainment system with a ten-inch display (screen diagonal 25.4 centimetres) and integrated navigation system. The individual pages show Abarth-style graphics. Among other things, the performance called up can be displayed. The electronically generated driving noise is also activated via the infotainment system. (aum)
