Ducati and Shell extend their partnership

Ducati and Shell have extended their technical partnership for a further three years and will continue to work together on the development of lubricants. The mineral oil company is the supplier of engine oils for the first delivery of all motorcycles manufactured in Italy and Thailand. It also supplies authorized workshops in Italy, France, Germany, the UK, Benelux, Spain, Portugal, the USA, Canada, China, Japan and Australia. The dealers stock Shell Advance Ducati engine oil and Ducati Corse Performance Oil powered by Shell Advance, which was only introduced last year.

The performance oil is based on the experience gained by Ducati in racing. It can be used in the Panigale V4, the Streetfighter V4 and the Multistrada RS, provided they are equipped with a dry clutch ex works or as an accessory from Ducati Performance. This lubricant can be used from the first oil change and offers a performance increase of up to 3.5 hp.

Ducati and Shell began their collaboration in 1999 in the Superbike World Championship before extending it to the Moto GP series four years later.(aum)
