The CS is still in between
BMW is now placing the M4 CS between the M4 Competition Coupé and the M4 CSL, which is limited to 1000 units. With 550 hp (405 kW), it delivers another 20 hp (15 kW) more than the 20 kilogram heavier Competition and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. From a standstill, it takes just 11.1 seconds to reach 200 km/h. The engine develops a maximum torque of 650 Newton meters between 2750 and 5950 rpm. The top speed of the special model with all-wheel drive and model-specific suspension, which is equipped with the M Driver's Package as standard, is electronically limited to 302 km/h. The CS is equipped with track tires as standard. Customers who mainly use the car for everyday driving can opt for high-performance tires as an alternative. Exclusive colors and visible carbon on the body are further features of the M4 CS. In the interior, carbon fiber can be found on the shift paddles, among other things. The bucket seats are also made of it. The side panels are covered in black leather. The exclusive ambience also includes red "CS" lettering on the center console, seat belts with contrasting stitching in the colors of BMW M GmbH, an anthracite-colored headliner, interior trim in carbon fiber and door sill trims with "M4 CS" lettering. The M Drive Professional system is also on board as standard for track use. The BMW M4 CS will be available from July for 160,000 euros. (aum)
