Fiat is keeping the flag flying in the small car segment and expanding its range with the 600e. The 4.17-meter-long four-door and five-seater has a standard electric range of over 400 kilometers. In city traffic, this is to be increased by another 50 percent. The 600e is powered by the more powerful of the Stellantis Group's two passenger car electric motors.
The 115 kW (156 hp) accelerate the Fiat to 100 km/h in nine seconds. The top speed is 150 km/h. The 54 kWh battery can be recharged to 80 percent in less than half an hour at appropriate fast-charging stations. Alternatively, there will also be a mild hybrid version with 100 hp (74 kW) that can also cover shorter distances at low speeds electrically.
Standard equipment for the Fiat 600e includes six airbags, an intelligent cruise control system, lane departure warning and rear parking sensors. The infotainment system is controlled via a monitor with a screen diagonal of 10.25 inches (26 centimeters), while the central instrument cluster measures seven inches (17.8 centimeters). The trunk holds 360 liters.
The Fiat 600e is available in the basic red RED version and the top-of-the-line La Prima variant. Prices start at 36,490 euros. (aum)
