Essen Motor Show celebrates 75 Years of Nascar and 20 Years of Tesla

The german Essen Motor Show will once again attract car fans from all over Europe to the exhibition halls from December 2 to 10 (Preview Day: Dec. 1). Around 500 exhibitors will ensure a colorful mix from the fields of Performance & Racing, Tuning & Lifestyle, Motorsport and Classic Cars. In addition, 75 years of the Nascar Series and 20 years of Tesla will be celebrated.

"At the Essen Motor Show, every vehicle is exciting, beautiful and unique in its own way. This year, we are attaching particular importance to variety and a wealth of variants," emphasizes Project Manager Ralf Sawatzki. In the hall 3, everything revolves around the themes of performance and racing. There, for example, ADAC, Mercedes Fan World, Nürburgring, Ravenol and Red Bull Deutschland will be presenting their vehicles and products. The Nascar special show will feature 16 vehicles.

Tuning and lifestyle will be the focal points in Halls 5, 6 and 7, with tuning not only a craft hobby but also a form of lifestyle. Companies such as Borbet, H & R and Hankook will be represented, as well as scene brands such as Foxed, JP Performance and Low Madness. In addition to vehicles and high-quality tuning parts, the exhibitors will also have corresponding fashion accessories in their luggage. Once again, around 150 elaborately tuned private cars will be on display in Essen. This year there will be a particularly large number of rare vehicles, for example a Datsun GX 1200, Honda Acty or Jaguar XJS. Among the exhibits are also electric cars, such as a Cupra Born and some Tesla. The round birthday of the US brand is celebrated by mobility service provider Next eShare.one at its booth in Hall 3 with several vehicles.

In Hall 8, the focus is on motorsport. Among others, the Automobile Club of Germany (AvD), the German Motor Sports Federation (DMSB) with the German Rallycross Championship, the Hockenheimring and the Special Touring Car Trophy will be represented there. In addition, racing fans can look forward to live presentations in the Event Area in Hall 4.

The Classic & Prestige Salon of organizer S.I.H.A. in Halls 1 and 2 will be the center of attraction for lovers of old and youngtimers, with a particularly large number of models with a sporty touch. In addition, spare parts, model cars and accessories attract the public to the stands.

This year, the Essen Motor Show will comprise nine halls and thus occupy almost the entire Essen fairgrounds. On Preview Day (Friday, December 1) as well as Saturday and Sunday, the event will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.. Tickets are available online at www.essen-motorshow.de. A regular day ticket costs 20 euros (concessions 16 euros). On Preview Day (December 1), admission costs 32 euros (reduced 27 euros).
