Valmet Automotive expands Zary plant

Valmet Automotive is expanding the production area of its Polish plant. Products for electromobility such as active spoiler and tailgate systems are to be manufactured there from the end of 2025. The expansion is expected to create around 350 new jobs by 2027.

Valmet says it has won a number of new customer orders from well-known European automakers. So far, roof systems for convertibles and kinematic systems have been manufactured at the site.The current area of 16,000 square meters is to be expanded by 7,000 square meters. Construction is scheduled to start in the first half of 2024. (aum)
