New Fiat Ducato can be ordered
Fiat has opened the order books for the new model year of the Ducato. The van is initially available as a panel van. The flatbed and chassis are expected to be available to order from January. The new version can be recognized above all by the slotted radiator grille, the modified bumper and aerodynamically optimized exterior mirrors as well as the new brand logo and the revised seats. The basic equipment has been extended. Net prices start at 32,800 euros.
There is a choice of three wheelbases and body heights. This results in a load volume of 10 to 17 cubic meters for the panel van. The permissible gross weight is between three and 4.25 tons, depending on the version, and the maximum trailer load is between 2.25 and three tons. The 2.2-liter engine is available with 120 hp (88 kW), 140 hp (103 kW) and 180 hp (130 kW). In addition to the six-speed gearbox, a new eight-speed automatic transmission is also available, with the exception of the entry-level engine.
The standard equipment now includes the reversing camera, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), the airbag designed for two front passengers and additional electronic driver assistance systems such as Emergency Brake Assist and Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Driver Drowsiness Alert and the Speed Assist (ISA), which will be mandatory for new vehicle types in the future. The new telematics box enables the use of services from Fiat Professional's Connected Services range. (aum)
