The twin headlights have had their day
Alongside the Street Glide, the Road Glide from Harley-Davidson is also rolling into the new season with more power and comfort. The typical Sharknose front end remains on the large tourer, but the twin headlights have disappeared. Instead, there is a more T-shaped unit consisting of the wide main headlight and a curved light strip, which includes the daytime running light and the indicators at the ends.
With 109 hp (80 kW) and 175 Newton meters, the 1.88-litre engine delivers slightly more power and higher torque. More rear suspension travel and a redesigned seat bench in conjunction with the optimized fairing are intended to increase travel comfort. The four riding modes and the new digital and colorful 12.3-inch touchscreen display also contribute to this. Two 200-watt loudspeakers are also on board. The Road Glide is also available as a CVO with the slightly larger V2 twin. Depending on the paint finish, the standard version is available from dealers for prices starting at 31,845 euros, while the CVO Road Glide is priced at 46,595 euros in a single color version. (aum)
