BMW presents the new generation of the 5 Series Touring, which has grown significantly. The estate is almost ten centimetres longer, three centimetres wider and over one and a half centimetres higher than its predecessor. The wheelbase has increased by two centimeters to a class-best three meters. The trunk capacity is 570 to 1700 liters. Sports seats are now standard, as is the digital curved display, which consists of a 12.3-inch display screen and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen.
Two diesel engines and a plug-in hybrid are on offer, as well as two purely electric versions, some of which have all-wheel drive. The top model is the all-electric BMW i5 M60 x-Drive Touring with 442 kW (601 hp), which accelerates to 100 km/h in under four seconds and whose top speed is only limited at 230 km/h.
