Volkswagen supplies e-components to Mahindra

The Volkswagen Group will supply Mahindra with components from its modular electric drive matrix (MEB). They are to be used in the Indian manufacturer's INGLO electric platform. The contract also includes the supply of unit cells, which Mahindra will be the first external customer to use. The Indian car manufacturer plans to launch five all-electric SUVs on the domestic market from the end of this year or early next year. (aum)
