Modified Kia Sorento can be ordered

The revised Sorento for the 2025 model year is now available to order from Kia. In addition to a strikingly different front and modified rear, the facelift primarily includes more comfort and enhanced assistance systems. In addition, more sustainable and recycled materials have been used in the interior. The dashboard and center console have been redesigned. Depending on the equipment selected, there is a curved panoramic display with a two-inch larger screen.

The new Highway Assist 2.0 can independently change lanes above a certain speed as soon as the driver indicates in the corresponding direction. In addition to the turning function, the forward collision warning system now also has cross-traffic detection, carries out evasive maneuvers if necessary and possible and also prevents collisions with vehicles ahead or oncoming vehicles in the adjacent lane. The all-round vision camera will offer a three-dimensional view in future. The convenience functions - also depending on the equipment line - include fingerprint recognition, a digital interior mirror and an electric tailgate that closes automatically as soon as the user leaves the Sorento's detection range if the function is activated accordingly.

The SUV is still available as a five-, six- or seven-seater depending on the equipment, as well as diesel, full hybrid and plug-in hybrid and front or all-wheel drive. Deliveries of the diesel will begin in March, with the two hybrid variants expected to follow from June. Prices start at 53,190 euros for the 2.2-liter diesel with front-wheel drive. (aum)
