Geneva 2024: The Renault 5 is back
Renault is reviving the legendary R 5 and launching it on the market as the E-Tech Electric in the coming months. The new edition will be available to customers in three power levels: 70 kW (95 PS), 90 kW (120 PS) and 110 kW (150 PS). With the 40 kWh battery, the new edition has a range of 300 kilometers, 400 kilometers with a 52 kWh battery. In terms of design, the designers adopted many elements of the original model and interpreted them in a "retro-futuristic style". The price list for the electric Renault 5 starts at 25,000 euros.
However, the entry-level model will not be available until later. The A290 performance version from Alpine has also already been announced. (aum)
