McLaren lets air into the Artura. As an alternative to the coupé, the super sports car is now also available as a convertible. The Artura Spider has a retractable hardtop that can be opened electrically in eleven seconds. With an unladen weight of 1560 kilograms, it is only 62 kilograms heavier than the closed version. McLaren is also increasing the system output of the drive with the V6 engine by 20 hp to 700 hp (515 kW) for the model year change. On request, the engine can also be recalibrated in coupés already on sale. The standard electric range of the plug-in hybrid increases to 33 kilometers.
The official acceleration figures for the Artura Spider are: from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.4 seconds and 21.6 seconds for the sprint to 300 km/h. The top speed is limited to 330 km/h. At 270,050 euros (excluding delivery costs), the Spider is ten percent more expensive than the Coupé. (aum)
