Suzuki Swift arrives at the end of April

Small cars are becoming rare: Suzuki, one of the specialists in this field, is sticking with the Swift. From the end of April, the seventh generation of the model will be launched on the market with significantly more extensive standard equipment. Navigation system, adaptive cruise control, keyless start system and LED headlights are standard. There is also a cross-traffic warning system, traffic sign recognition and an active lane departure warning system.

For the first time, the Suzuki Swift has a high-resolution nine-inch touchscreen for infotainment as well as Suzuki Connect, so that some functions can be controlled via smartphone, such as remote unlocking of the doors. The interior is two-tone.

As before, there are three trim levels: Club, Comfort and Comfort Plus.
Depending on the version, all-wheel drive and a CVT transmission are also available on request. In all cases, the engine is a newly developed 1.2-liter three-cylinder unit with 82 hp (61 kW). It is supported by a belt-driven twelve-volt starter generator. This gives the Suzuki Swift a fuel consumption of between 4.4 and 4.9 liters per 100 kilometers. The trunk capacity is a class-typical 265 liters and the loading sill is one centimeter lower than before.

Prices start at 18,900 euros. (aum)
