Euro NCAP: Three Chinese cars come out on top

Euro NCAP has again tested Chinese electric cars. The result: All of them are in the best position in terms of safety and receive the highest rating of five stars. The two BYD models in question are the Dolphin and Seal and the Xpeng P7. They achieved up to 89 percent of the possible points in the evaluation categories occupant protection for adults and children, equipment with safety assistance systems and the protection of weaker road users such as pedestrians and cyclists. The Dolphin narrowly came out on top, and Euro NCAP would have liked to see a little more protection for children riding in the Xpeng. (aum)
