Crash test: one last star missing

Euro NCAP has once again crashed three cars. The basic versions of the Toyota C-HR and the on Nio EL6 received the highest score of five stars, while the Honda CR-V only received this for the versions with additional safety features. The entry-level model received a solid four stars (in Euro NCAP's own words).

The individual ratings were as follows: The Toyota C-HR scored 85 percent of the possible points for occupant protection, 86 percent for child protection and 86 percent for assistance systems to protect other road users such as pedestrians or cyclists. The Toyota scored 79 percent for standard safety systems, while the Nio EL6 scored 95 percent, 85 percent, 78 percent and 76 percent in the four categories. The Honda scored 85, 86, 76 and 67 percent in the basic version, and 80 and 79 percent in the last two categories with the optional "Honda Sensoring 360" package. (aum)
